Wendell Zerb, Chairman and CEO of Red Canyon Resources Ltd. (CSE: REDC | OTCQB: REDRF | FSE: I9I), discusses the company’s 2026 exploration program focused on large Tier 1 copper projects across North America, where it holds seven 100-per-cent-owned copper-gold projects in British Columbia and the western United States. As electrification drives copper demand, Red Canyon is advancing three high-profile projects toward a potentially major discovery.
Seven wholly owned copper-gold projects set Red Canyon apart
Unlike many junior explorers, Red Canyon controls seven wholly owned copper-gold projects, giving it multiple independent paths to a discovery, including its core asset, the Kendal Project in western British Columbia, a high-profile copper-molybdenum-gold system. According to Zerb, “Every drill hole has hit copper mineralization top to bottom.”
Ten holes are complete so far, and the company’s mobile MT geophysics indicates a system measuring roughly four kilometres by three kilometres, leaving ample room to test for higher-grade zones.
Copper market tailwinds strengthen the investment case
With electrification, grid expansion, and energy transition infrastructure reshaping the copper market, demand for the metal is widely expected to grow while new large-scale discoveries have become increasingly rare. Positioned early in this cycle, Red Canyon is targeting the porphyry systems that major producers depend on to replace reserves.
By concentrating on Tier 1 targets in stable North American jurisdictions, the company offers investors leveraged exposure to copper exploration with reduced geopolitical risk. This combination of macro tailwinds and exploration upside is the kind of opportunity many investors look for in an early-stage copper story.
Drilling underway at Inzana as Red Canyon advances 2026 targets
Recent milestones include the start of drilling at the Inzana Project in central British Columbia, where the Camp target follows up on historical drilling that hit encouraging copper mineralization, and ZTEM geophysics refine targets at the Scraper Springs Project in Nevada. The company plans to test up to three priority projects, with expanded geophysics and drilling to follow. As Zerb puts it, “They all have the opportunity to produce big, significant discoveries.”
Looking ahead, Red Canyon expects to translate its detailed work programs, including geophysics, into expanded drill programs this year.
Disciplined exploration positions Red Canyon for discovery
As Red Canyon Resources continues to advance its copper-gold portfolio, it sits at the intersection of rising copper demand and the search for new North American supply. Anchored by the district-scale Kendal system, the company is positioned for disciplined, discovery-focused exploration through 2026.

Wendell Zerb: Red Canyon is a small-cap mineral explorer. Our entire focus is to look for large Tier 1 copper projects in North America, and we have seven 100-per-cent-owned copper-gold projects in British Columbia and the western U.S.
Red Canyon has three high-profile copper-gold projects that we’re planning to explore this year. We’ve started initial geophysics on our most southern project, Scraper Springs in Nevada. This is a very large alteration system, and when we talk about alteration systems for copper porphyries, it’s the upper footprint of what we hope is an economic deposit at depth. We started that with geophysics, which we plan to translate into a drill program later in the fall.
At our Inzana Project, drill rigs have started, and this is an exciting drill program for us. Our main area there is the Camp Project, where previous drilling by historical workers hit excellent mineralization. We expect to follow that up, along with five other targets that we expect to do geophysics and additional drilling.
Our core project is the Kendal Project in western B.C., a high-profile copper-molybdenum-gold system. We’ve put 10 drill holes into this project so far, and every drill hole has hit copper mineralization top to bottom. It’s an enormous system. Using our mobile MT geophysics, it measures about four kilometres by three kilometres. We’ve got lots of room to come into a high-grade area.
We plan to test three different targets. They’re all high-profile. They all have the opportunity to produce big, significant discoveries, which is the whole mandate of Red Canyon to benefit shareholders.
About Red Canyon Resources Ltd.
Red Canyon Resources Ltd. (CSE: REDC | OTCQB: REDRF | FSE: I9I) is a technically driven, discovery-focused mineral exploration company exploring North America’s top copper jurisdictions. The company’s core goal is to make impactful copper discoveries and has a portfolio of 100-per-cent-owned copper and copper-gold porphyry exploration projects. The Kendal Project in west-central British Columbia remains a priority project for the company. Current 2026 exploration plans focus on a series of geochemical and geophysical targets identified east of previous drilling at Moly Fork and Kendal Creek.
Infill sample geochemistry, IP geophysics and diamond drilling are anticipated to commence in July 2026. The company recently completed a project-scale ZTEM geophysical survey at its 100-per-cent-owned Scraper Springs project in Nevada. Results, followed by modelling and interpretation, are anticipated in early Q3 2026. The company’s technical team consists of experienced geoscientists with diverse capital market, junior and major mining company backgrounds and a track record of success.
