Jason Leikam, CEO & Director of Omega Pacific Resources Ltd. (CSE: OMGA | OTCQB: OMGPF | FSE: Q0F), discusses the mineral explorer’s focus on expanding a compelling gold discovery at its Williams Property in British Columbia’s Toodoggone district. Operating in one of the province’s most active and prospective mineral belts, the company is taking a disciplined and systematic approach to exploration, with the goal of building real value for its shareholders as work on its 2026 exploration program gets underway.

West GIC Gold target drill results show scale at the Williams Property

Omega Pacific’s West GIC Gold target stands out for the width of its mineralized intervals. The company’s 2024 program at the target delivered 1.69 g/t gold over 104 metres, including 6.22 g/t gold over just under 19 metres. A second intercept returned 2.16 g/t gold over just under 97 metres, also at West GIC. According to Leikam, “These results show us that there is real scale here, and this year, we’re back to expand on this important discovery.” Intervals of this length give the company a strong base to build from as it tests how far the gold mineralization at West GIC extends.

Open gold anomaly gives investors room for discovery growth

The Toodoggone district is one of British Columbia’s most active and prospective mineral belts, and Omega Pacific holds meaningful ground within it. West GIC sits within an 1,800-metre geochemical gold anomaly that remains open in all directions. A 2022 drill hole 600 metres to the east intercepted 4.64 g/t over eight metres, giving the company a clear lateral target. The 2026 program began with soil and rock sampling and geological mapping across the West GIC Gold target, extending east through the ROI porphyry target over a total distance of five kilometres. For investors, this gives exposure to an open gold system with a lot of ground left to test.

2026 drill program targets lateral expansion at West GIC

With drill pads prepared, Omega Pacific is launching a multi-phase drill program of up to 5,000 metres at the Williams Property. An initial 1,000 to 2,000-metre program will focus on expanding gold mineralization laterally towards the 2022 drill hole to the east. Leikam says, “We expect the 2026 program to build on what we delivered in 2024 and show investors the full potential of what we have at West GIC.” Results from this program are the next catalysts for investors to watch as the company moves into a growth stage.

Omega Pacific Resources positioned for disciplined gold exploration growth

As Omega Pacific Resources works to expand its West GIC gold discovery, it pairs a disciplined, systematic exploration approach with a gold anomaly that remains open in all directions. With a multi-phase drill program launching, the company is positioned to deliver steady exploration progress in British Columbia’s Toodoggone district.

Jason Leikam: Omega Pacific Resources is focused on British Columbia’s Toodoggone District, one of the province’s most active and prospective mineral belts. We’re advancing a compelling gold discovery with a disciplined and systematic approach to exploration. Our goal is to build real value for our shareholders.

Work is underway right now at our Williams Property, where our 2026 exploration program is progressing towards drilling. We’re building on a strong 2024 program that delivered 1.69 g/t of gold over 104 metres, including 6.22 g/t of gold over just under 19 metres. A second intercept returned 2.16 g/t of gold over just under 97 metres, all at our West GIC Gold target. These results show us that there is real scale here, and this year, we’re back to expand on this important discovery.

Our 2026 program began with surface work, including soil and rock sampling, geological mapping across the West GIC Gold target, and an extension east through our ROI porphyry target over a total distance of five kilometres.

With drill pads prepared, we’re launching a multi-phase drill program of up to 5,000 metres, with an initial 1,000- to 2,000-metre program. This initial phase will focus on expanding gold mineralization laterally towards a 2022 drill hole—600 metres to the east that intercepted 4.64 g/t over eight metres. The West GIC target sits within an 1,800-metre geochemical gold anomaly that remains open in all directions, so there’s a lot of ground to test here.

We expect the 2026 program to build on what we delivered in 2024 and show investors the full potential of what we have at West GIC. So watch for our results as this program advances, and please track Omega Pacific as we move into a growth stage.
